Taking some time out of my busy morning to actually blog this entry on this very last day of year 2008. Every year to be is the same as we cant predict what will happen, we can only pray that the new year will be a better and happier year for all of us.

Half day work today and i will be expecting more work to come next week. our events department is literally surviving with 4 of us w/o any manager. sounds cool right? not at all as at times where we have difficulties, we might have no head to turn to.

Meeting up with boyf later at 6pm i guessed to Floating Platform to countdown and welcome year 2009? but I will be out after work which is in 30minutes time.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
wallet damaged though.

all of us were given unofficial half day off. had a mini christmas celebration with my colleagues. gift xchanges, lucky draws, food. as usual i dont have any luck in "luckydraws". after that, boyf and me went out with Tang to Vivo City for late lunch and some pre-xmas shopping Adidas.

Met up with tatsiong aaron and isaac before we head to St James- Boiler Room for xmas celebration again (me tatsiong and aaron had no where to go)! we got in free and all thanks to isaac's uncle. Party till about 3am then we headed home. =P

POLYPEEPS GATHERING

Met up with a few poly peeps the next day at 1pm. So nice of boyf to send me there. Headed to purchase some xmas gift before reaching Minds Cafe at Bugis. Had some games and gift xchanges and headed to bugis and suntec for shopping. Went off early to meet up with my girls. :)

Sentosa Getaway

Boyf came to fetch me at 3.15pm then we set off to Sentosa for the 2D1N stay at treasure resort. it's the 288$nett package that some of you might have seen it at Sentosa website. This package includes:

2D1N stay at treasure resort, Breakfast for 2 pax,
Choice of 1 out of the 3 below:
1 Seafood Dinner at somewhere (Boyf cant eat seafood, so this was out); Underwater world and Dolphin Lagoon (this was out too as we are not interested in the Dolphin Lagoon); Cineblast and Songs of the Sea (yeap we took this one, mostly due to the Songs of the Sea!)

Went off the next day 21 December 09, at around 12pm before I head to work at 3pm. Enjoy all these short and sweet mini getaway. But i still hope i can go HK or Taiwan next year.

I wasnt feeling well the next day. Had some muscle ache/pain and stomach pain. Got a mc for today. But I still feel weak. hais! ):

Congrats to those who managed to finish their full marathon for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. Pity that I wasnt there for this year as I did not join for the run. As they do not require female Key Volunteer, so I wasnt there to help out either. So I was sleeeeeping at home before meeting Sherlyn to hunt for Huiting's present.

Drop by HS working place; Water & Wine found at Raffles City Basement. Chatted with her for awhile before setting off to purchase Huiting's present at Robinson. Huiting's bday celebration was at HTNS- Guilin Restaurant (which is the restaurant at where i am working now). Such a boring place for me since i patronise them almost every alternate days. ):

Went out with Constance, Kok Keong and Boyf for supper at Holland V's Coffee Club. Wasabi Prawn Salad, Smoked Salmon Caesar Salad, Potato Wedges, Fish & Chips, Muddy Mud Pie were what we had yesterday for supper. Then we had a few rounds of pool at West Coast Recreational Club (hopefully i got the venue name correct) before heading home at around 2am.

Woke up at around 1.00am
and went out with boyf to Vivo City + Changi Airport today.


Back to work tomorrow on a Tuesday.

Met up with Boyf for dinner on Sunday late afternoon. Had my favourite Bah Kut Teh at Havelock Road. The peppery herby soup taste damn nice can. Must try. Will update the address here once i take note on my next visit. yum yum!!!

Shopped around Cityhall area, bought nothing as I've spent quite a amount on alcohol lately. Alright time for bed. cheeers! (:

Both of us took half day off on Monday and Tuesday because we have simply too many offs to clear!

Chilled around Jurong Point and had our curry chicken rice dinner at KOPITIAM on a bluey monday.

Headed down to Orchard yesterday. freaking hungry when I met her at 2.30pm and had our late lunch at CANELE. love the food there, though it's kind of expensive. Well I dont deny I love to splurge on food especially good food! Next, we had our french manicure done at Far East, I think I was too tired as I nearly fall asleep while the lady was doing the nails for me! LOL. Our boyf-s came to find us after that, then we went separate ways.

Bought the FERRERO Collection at DFS. Simply love that Brown Colour piece! Dinner was at Yoshinoya, my usual Rutan Beef Bowl that I dig.

In the afternoon I went back to Office yesterday.
For what? There were some talks going on and I was the one liasing so I went back lor. But there's half day to claim! Anyway, Meet up with boyf after that.

Had our dinner at Loy Kee! It's darn nice lar. Better than Boon Tong Kee! Serious. least their chicken are much more tender and juicy.

Roamed around Orchard after that, bought nothing but a NIKE ear-phones from HMV. long story with the earphones... Initially I wanted a very very very cool ear-phone to be wore round your neck, but for some reasons it just dont fit nicely on my ears!! End up I went back to exchange for smthg similar to any other brands just that it's NIKE. =/ waste of money though.

I finally knew the settings of my Camera, how to make it "NOT SO GLARING"! heheh. Previously, I dumped my Camera aside because the photos taken sucked; so glaring so bright etc. Now I dig CANON IXUS 80 IS once again though it's still damn clear! LOL! crap.

Slacking at home today and Weekends are always moving so fast~

imagine myself collating all my photos doing all the borders, the alightments, the shadows, the arrangement, the so many many stuffs using adobe photoshop. glad to have picasa3 now which really saves time and eyepower! shall save adobe photoshop for other more professional artwork though i only know 1/3 of it only. oppps.
